Summer 2026 News
Summer’s carry more weight for musicians, now more than ever. Weekend warriors, tour wizards, and the big leagues all seem to gather in the sun. This is the same for this independent artist–each summer has its own way of smacking the time out of the sunshine to share music with new audiences, especially since 2022. Gigs also have better times–less of the ‘done at 2am’ and more of the dinner crowd or ‘typical concert’ times like 7-10 and the like. This year will prove to be another busy one for me, as you see in the dates. And they continue to roll in. I am thrilled to be playing primarily on the road nowadays, outside of the Tri-Cities where I honed my skill and watched the audience grow and then move on in life. Northbound shows have been exceptional to me, as they spend money and time bringing in crowds and offering that ‘Northern Hospitality’ that we have come to know and love in Michigan. Weekends haven’t been the same and the stars align in the northern skies–maybe its the better air. Having said that, I look forward to playing down south in Ann Arbor, Lansing, Detroit, Kzoo, and GR soon as well. They seem to have more musicians, so its a difficult road to break down into. But after all these years, they can come to the names they know and trust. Us old musicians have a weathered soul. Let’s go! See you out there….
